Objective

Covid-19 has without a doubt transformed our way of living, nevertheless Golf is a sport with built-in physical distancing and is an outdoors sport played contactless which enables healthy exercise while adapting to the "new norms" of distance socializing.

This event is organized by CAERUS EVENTS INTERNATIONAL (a subsidiary of CAERUS Group SDN BHD) to get golfers together from two major state in Malaysia which is Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan.

Entry Fees

The entry fee for each player is MYR 280.00 nett inclusive of green fees, buggy fees on twin sharing basis, golf insurance, goodies, prizes, and dinner on competition day.

Entries must be accompanied with the full Entry Fee payable by cash deposit or online banking system into Caerus Group Sdn. Bhd. Account Number 80103-20600 (CIMB Bank). Please attach the payment slip together with the entry form upon submission with your name and mobile number written at the back of the slip.

Those unable to register within the stipulated times may be accepted at the discretion of The Committee. Entry forms without the accompanying payment will NOT be accepted.

Forms of Play

Fourball is a type of competition in which two teams of two golfers each — #CAERUSTeamKL and #CAERUSTeamN9, for the purposes of the Ryder Cup - play through 18 holes.

Each individual golfer plays their own ball for a given hole, so four balls will always be in play (hence the name). Whichever golfer or team gets the lower score on a given hole tallies a point. If the two sides get the same score, the hole is “halved,” giving each side half a point

Four-ball:

Two-man teams representing each state square off against each other. Each of the four golfers plays their own ball, and the pairs choose their best score to count for the hole. The two scores not chosen get thrown out

7.

Eligibility

a) Amateur Golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by the R&A Rules Ltd (The R&A).

b) The field shall be limited to 120 competitors on a first come first serve basis. In the event that entries fall short or exceed the number, The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make amendments on the entry requirements without giving any reason whatsoever.

8.

Registration

Players are required to register in person at Seri Selangor Golf Club by 1:00 p.m. on Sunday Jan 30^th, 2022. Failure to register may result in the player being withdrawn from this event.

9.

Practice Range

Kota Damansara range.

Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Practice balls are charged at RM15.00 per 100 balls.

Golf Attire

All players are required to observe Seri Selangor Golf Club dress code/golf attire and the Rules and Regulations of the Club.

Locker

Daily usage of locker is available and designated to each player on event day. Details will be provided upon registration.
